Ian Gardner Appointed Managing Director of Tasman Oil Tools

Tasman Oil Tools’ has recently announced the appointment of Ian Gardner as Managing Director. Ian joined Northbridge Industrial Services plc, Tasman’s parent Company, in 2007 and has been responsible for the expansion of the Group’s activities across the Eastern Hemisphere, across all trading divisions and he holds a seat on the Northbridge board of Directors.

The appointment follows a strategic decision, by Northbridge, to focus on core activities, of which Tasman is a major part, aligning senior management to better focus attention, resources and investment to the business units.

Ian will take immediate responsibility for all of Tasman Oil Tools’s businesses, including operations in Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar and Malaysia. With over 20 years’ experience of working within these regions, Ian is well qualified to lead Tasman as they continue to expand their service offerings and grow the brand.

Speaking of this appointment Ian stated, “I am very excited about this new role and focus. It is no secret that the industry has gone through some challenging times and I am looking forward to leading Tasman, as we continue move forward. We have taken steps to consolidate the business and I feel that we are in an excellent position to take advantage of new opportunities as they arise.
